San Angelo Stock Show & Rodeo (San Angelo)

San Angelo Stock Show & Rodeo

The San Angelo Stock Show and Rodeo Association touches the lives of almost everyone in San Angelo and the surrounding area. The economic benefits are substantial as the Stock Show and Rodeo put more than $6 million into the local economy, and the Roping Fiesta has almost as much impact. Association events and related activities attract close to 100,000 people during the year.

The San Angelo Fat Stock Show Association originated in 1931 because civic leaders believed in San Angelo as the center of the livestock industry in West Texas. WTU Retail Energy is proud to sponsor the San Angelo Stock Show & Rodeo and the Santa Fe Trail Ride. Check out the latest Rodeo events news at the San Angelo Rodeo website.

Western Heritage (Abilene)

Western Heritage Classic

In 1985, a few local cowboys formed teams to compete in authentic ranch activities that involved a scoring system used to determine who the best working ranch was. It was an event that not only challenged the participants but it drew a crowd and established a way to support a local charity. The beneficiaries today are the Expo Center of Taylor County and the Cancer Services Network.
WTU is proud to be part of Western Heritage Classic-recognized as the “most unique event in Texas”.
